Celebrating Women – International Women’s Day

There is a long list of women in the history books who have influenced communities, changed the course of societies, and left lasting imprints on their cultures. They were esteemed innovators, highly regarded pioneers, and powerful change agents. However there are millions of women whose name will never be known outside of their circle, yet they change the world every day as well. On March 8th, International Women’s Day will be celebrated all around the world. Hundreds of events and activities will serve as an homage to the victories, as well as a spotlight on those issues that still need resolution.
